Yeah that really stinks ...known them people half my life and they always treated me well ...But the way the gun issue is headed I think they are looking for anything possible to shut them down ....That's why it is important to get those supplies up ...and lock it up ...we know nothing is getting cheaper and we know they want our guns  :bdid: :bash: :bash:

Yeah they shut down a gun store. But the US Parks Police can misplace ARs and they are still open for business .

Kesselrings closing their doors???
« Reply #19 on: July 03, 2013, 08:38:01 AM »
I heard through the grapevine that Kesselrings is closing on or before Oct. 1  forced by the ATF.  A buddy said they would be having a big liquidation sale.  Can't say I give a rip.  I've never liked that placed.  Lousy customer service and the rudest sales people in the business.   Much rather go to Dave's or Skagit Sports where they appreciate the business

Your NICS check paperwork stays with the FFL until they close. then the paperwork goes to the ATF (i think).  We could argue about if they keep the info when its called in, however it IS in thier system after an FFL loses its licence/goes out of business.

Worst gun shop I ever dealt with! Took over 5 months to put a brake on one of my rifles.  Never went back...

I hate to see any business like that  fold.  Its almost impossible for a business these days, and I feel any of those in this particular line are going to be under fire from Uncle.

I thought Craig was very nice and did good work for a reasonable price

I've never liked that placed.  Lousy customer service and the rudest sales people in the business.
I thought the sales staff was courteous

Gun shops by and large have the rudest work force of any business this side of corrections and bounty hunting

They must not be in too much of a hurry to get rid of their guns, 10% off in a liquidation sale  for firearms that are already marked up 20% over MSRP or blue book ain't chit. They have been over priced from the beginning, looks like they will stay overpriced to the end.
