Nice video. What pack are you using?

It's the Deuter Aircontact 75+10.  As far as non-hunting company packs go, I absolutely love it.  I just couldn't swing the $600+ that Kifaru, Mystery Ranch, and Stone Glacier were asking for their packs.  Plus as a member of Mountain Rescue I get pro deal with Deuter and ended up getting the pack for way less than retail.  If you aren't going with one of the above mentioned hunting packs, I highly recommend this one.

Part 2 is up on my YouTube page but for whatever reason Hunt-Wa won't let me load a video or link.   :dunno:

If someone else can post the link, feel free to do so.

Works now I guess.  Sorry for you mobile users.  Apparently because the first song in the second video is copyrighted it won't allow mobile views.

Shane, you and Daniel did a great job with the video.  The story, the editing, the background music selection.  Very well done.

I've got about a half hour left for lunch...if you could go ahead and get that editing done and post it up that would work out just dandy....yeah....that'd be great.

Yeah, I'll get right on that!  :chuckle:

You know these videos aren't quick edits.  I think I spent 2+ hours on Part 2 last night.

I'm heading over to Winthrop for the weekend too so if Part 3 doesn't get done tonight it will be a while...

Great video.  So on the 2nd video when you did your 2.5 mile hike down the ravine, did you ever see that bear or was he gone by the time you go to the spot?

Never saw her again.  She disappeared on us.  Daniel did end up seeing 3 more bears from that lookout while I was hiking down there but unfortunately he accidentally deleted all video footage of those bears.  My cameramen definitely need to learn to use the camera better.  :)  AlecVG missed a shot on a bear on Part 3 as well.

Well technically you missed the shot on the first black color phase bear and then missed the shot on the charging bear as well.  I can forgive missing the shot on the charging one, everything happened very quickly!

Nice videos!

I don't know how you had the will power not to take the nice blacky! Way to stick with what you came for, I could not have done that, LOL

Nice job Shane.  Glad it worked out for you.  Don't know that I could have held out and not shot the nice black boar, someone would have to have taken my shells from me!

Nice looking country there.

Just watched some of your vids and wanted to say thank you! There are many Oregon bear vids but not many WA out on YouTube. I also notices you don't camo it up...kinda nice to see for some reason. ;)

Thank you!
