New Tattoo! - Tribal Elk
« on: August 14, 2013, 07:27:17 PM »
This is my first tat. I waited 31 years to get it. It is sort of a tribute to my dad who passed away a couple weeks ago, since he introduced me to my biggest passions besides my family - elk hunting and the outdoors. I think it turned out pretty darn good!

It's a very unique, awesome tat. Cool!

It wasnt incredibly comfortable, especially in the back. I don't understand those people who say it is fun to get a tattoo. Feels like getting snapped with a rubber band 500 times to me.

I like it. Simple and clean. Good lines. It should look good for many years.
Yes, my FJ is pink, I'm all about Team Jacob, beer is not for the horses nor is whiskey for the men, they are both for me.

I like it and your motivation for getting it.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Now why did you have to go and do that to yourself, you just ruined your chances of making a decent living and are only thinking of the now and not the future..better apply for your EBT card today... :chuckle:

Seriously, nice tat..
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I don't know who drew it. I found it on line as a drawing and spent about a year thinking about it and trying to find someone who had already done it as a tattoo. I never did find anyone else with anything like it so it passed the unique test. Sean at Phantom tattoo in Centralia did the work.
