I live in Vancouver and just recently started bowhunting...im 20 and will be hunting by myself. I heard there are some good blacktail areas in western washington near the olympic penninsula? As far as mule deer go...I have no idea where to start. I have never harvested an animal and would really a good oppurtunity at my first buck. Some people I have listened to tell me there is lots of hunting pressure in most areas...I do not want to be around crowds of hunters. I am willing to go where other people wont...no matter how extreme. I bought all the pack equipment and am in great shape because of athletics. I just want to go to places other people wont to have a chance at my first animal. If anyone has information that could help me out I would greatly appreciate it...thankyou very much for your time.
