Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.

Anything I have done the hides WILL BE sent to a commercial grade tannery or your not working on my stuff

Exactly
. You guys take your stuff where you like.  I was just stating this for time frame purposes.
At least I don't worry about the animal of a lifetime being lost in the mail or the tannery.
  Local benefit to me.

Just go to Fidalgo Taxidermy. World class work, excellent customer service, good turn around time.

Worth every cent!!

Garth did the work on my Elk. He was recommended to me by a father son friends that do birds as a hobby many years ago. THEY said his work was awesome on birds and elk and they were right... That said I heard he doesnt do the work on his animals anymore... Or perhaps he just does the Finish work...  :dunno: just what i heard.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

We were there in Nov. dropping off a bear hide for a rug. The place was packed with critters in all different stages. I assumed he did the finish work, maybe his wife or someone else could be doing the work too  :dunno: I don't care who's doing the work it looked good to me.

Its too bad this site protected her for so long by removing threads like this when they first started popping up.  I'm sure it could've helped steer some others away from her "business", and prevented a lot of customer headaches.

That's too bad if this is the case.

That is NOT the case. Some threads did get locked, when they got out of control and there was no further information being shared. But never removed, that I recall.

I don't think that was a fair statement by Miles.

Forum management tries to be as fair as possible with all members, sponsors, and outside businesses that appear in negative topics. Factual comments/topics posted by someone who is having issues with another member or business are generally left on the forum. If topics get out of hand with dog piling by members who have no skin in the topic, those topics may get locked or comments that are over the top/heresay/bashing may get removed.

I don't remember every thing that has happened regarding Michelle Nelson Taxidermy, but there are numerous topics on this forum that have allowed members opportunities to address their problems. After several complaints I asked Michelle to address the issues and after the members indicated the issues were not addressed in a timely fashion then Michelle was removed as a moderator. I again asked Michelle to resolve the issues with members, when that didn't happen in a timely fashion she was removed as a sponsor. I told her when all issues with members were resolved that she could again be a sponsor, that has not happened, so she will not be allowed to be a sponsor until all known issues with members have been resolved. I have recently been made aware of additional members who have issues with MN Taxidermy and unless those issues are resolved, at some point we may remove Michelle as a member altogether. In fairness, I am sending this message to MN Taxidermy to allow another opportunity to resolve these issues.

FYI - We get complaints all the time from members wanting other members removed from the forum due to simple differences of opinion. How fair would it be if you were suddenly removed from the forum permanently because of a difference in opinion? This forum will not remove any sponsor or member without first giving them a chance to resolve issues, that is only fair.

All members and businesses will continue to receive a fair opportunity to resolve any alleged complaints before being removed from H-W forum.

I locked your topic about MN Taxidermy only because other members are dog piling. If you want to post again in that topic just let me know and I will unlock it for you. Please read my last post when I locked the topic. Good luck, I hope you get your mount.

Best Regards,
Dale

message to MN Taxidermy:

Hi Michelle,

I have been made aware of more H-W members who are still waiting on mounts from several years ago. I am asking you again if you would please look back in your records and take care of the H-W members who have had mounts with you for more than 3 years. I have given you 2 years to try and resolve these issues at your will. I cannot continue to allow you to access the forum if you will not take care of these members. I'm hoping you will please resolve these issues so we can all put this behind us.

Best Regards,
Dale
