Got my first this year! Man, they sure look a lot bigger from 230 yards away :chuckle:

Congratulations on your first bear 🐻. Bear are one of the hardest animals to field judge for size. Usualy BIG ears means small bear. You bear is great and should taste wonderfull. Once again congrats!👍😁

First ever bear. Shot her at 315 yards one shot. Was by myself so couldn't get a real good picture unfortunately.

Nice.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

I was thinking the same thing, lots of bear success this year.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

My Buddy Cody from the west side and I with our Eastern WA bears.  The chocolate was around 300, the black was around 250.
