Hope you get him an elk this year and remember all the great times you shared. May you family be blessed and come together to celebrate the life of your dad.

I hope that in time the hard memories will fade and some of the best will sharpen.

Your Dad, may he rest in peace, didn't lose his fight. He raised a couple of stud young men and he fought the hardest fight for a decade. Very sorry for your family's loss D, he sure sounds like he was a tough old Cob and was game right up to the end.

:yeah:

Sounds like he went out with his boots on.  And leaves behind a powerful legacy with his kids.  About all any of us can hope for on this side of heaven.

We have 2 days left of early elk so if I can get everything straightened out today maybe I'll go get him an elk.

Sorry for your loss as I lost my Father two years ago so I have a little understanding of what you are going through.

Enjoy the memories and keep some of his things around so you see them every day.
