Well three trips into the Skagit areas so far.  No sign of any bear activity yet.  Many of the roads still have trees down and branches over them when you come in off of hwy 9.  Hoping for things to get better.
We came to hunt!

Just got back from a weekend hunt(sw Idaho), we saw a sow with cubs and that was it.

hows the snow?
There were some drifts left over up around 6000' and the higher peaks around were completely covered still

Gonna go find them in the sun. The weather just won't change to warm.

Just coming back from a couple more days of bear hunting.  Saw one sow with twins.  A decent size bear too late to go after and another sow with a single cub.  Plus we saw a wolf chasing a cow elk and my buddy found a small moose shed

Good luck StringShot! Been curious how conditions are over there.  Partner and i drew tags, not heading over until Memorial weekend though. Hope you have a good hunt and let us know how it goes!
