taxidermists for badger around centralia?
« on: August 06, 2017, 05:32:15 PM »
Hello guys, curious if anyone has had a badger done by anyone around the centralia area and how it turned out. I am looking to get one done but obviously want an exceptional job. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Unless I am mistaken; it is only legal to kill badger in WA state with a trappers license. You may want to mention that, or that it was killed in another state. Lots of internet trolls on HuntWA that would love to jump all over this. Nice work on the badger, I'd love to get one mounted someday as well. Super cool critters.

I think that Fidalgo Taxidermy does good work on smaller animals and there is a shop in Oly that I have heard also does, but I am not sure of their name.

You might try contacting Craig and see where he had his son's badger mounted........

You might try Joel at Black River taxidermy.

 (360) 789-5056. Email: blackrivertaxidermy@gmail.com. Facebook: Black River Taxidermy.

See if he has done badgers.

I think that is the shop I referenced above.  I saw a few small game mounts a while back that looked nice and was told they were done in Oly and I am pretty sure it was Black River Taxidermy.  I couldn't remember the name earlier.

He's down by Rochester right on the Black River.  He is on Hunt-Wa occasionally.  Maybe he will see the thread and give some input?

I haven't used him, but I've seen some of his work by his pics that he's posted on here and it looks really good.

I dropped my Buck off to Joel at Blackriver not too long ago and he had several badgers that were about to go through the in house tanning process he does. I know he's worked with a few. I'd give him a call. He's a cool guy to chat with too
