I've been seeing lots of scoters the last couple days, seems early but might be a sign of a good sea duck season.

i shot mine in othello in 2011 on a back pond. Have seen groups on the Columbia out of vantage too

I only saw two White-winged in the bunch.  I did manage to get one two years ago, tasted the same as the others.   ;)  Bigger gizzards than the others though.
