My season so far
« on: November 15, 2017, 03:49:12 PM »
I finally drew the multi season elk tag this year. I was pretty excited.
Being able to hunt all seasons had been fun and I have learned a few things as well.
I went on a wilderness hunt for archery season and saw elk even had a couple close encounters but no legal bull to shoot.
My muzzy season did not go as planned so I only got to go out a few days but still no legal bull in sight.
My rifle season was a blast. I got to watch 3 of my friends fill their bull tags and I saw a ton of bulls .
I did not notch my own tag however.  I have 2 seasons left, but they are pretty much at the same time so basically one.
Being in wine sales from thanksgiving to new years is such a crazy busy time for me. So getting out is looking pretty dismal.
Anyway just keep plugging away and hope I can put some meat in the freezer.  It's pretty empty
Good luck all who are still  getting after it
If its brown knock it down

Good luck RCE! I know you enjoy the process, but I hope you fill the freezer as well!

Good luck! I'm hoping one day I'll draw the multi season tag as well. Very jealous of you.
