Rick it;s buckhorn2 and Del not Dale  anyway we sure had a blast and that barberque you cooked up was something to remember. I have been around town showing off my calls that you made your the best. Da stump sure told us right about the sand bars but now I think there are two or three new channells going up the river. Thanks Rick we had fun.  buckhorn2

Give me a good book and a gun, that's all I need.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it.  Being disabled sucks.  Teacherman pretty much runs the boat for me and such and with him out of the picture with a bum leg.   Oh well off to the next adventure. Cry
I am really glad that you guys had a great time, Both teacherman and myself where holding our breath because with so many variables things can go bad.  Great group of cats.  Bet that took a little time to fillet.

So how about a write up to fill in all of us who couldn't make it.  We want a few details, like did anyone fish from the shore?  If, so how did they do?  What were you catching them on?  Cry  I hope you guys all had a great time!  How many folks showed up.  I ended up having quite a few family members fly in for my daughters graduation and never could get away like I hoped.

remember that this was fishing the spawn.  In another week or two it will be over and the cats tend to head out and spread out.  Not totally inaccessible but harder to catch in quantity.  On the other hand the small mouth seem to group together and you can catch over a hundred a day if you work for it.  A blast.  Remember to only retain what you feel like cleaning after a day in the sun and How many beers was that?  I am hoping that next year we can all get together and have a great time. hello
