ISO: Toyota 4Runner
« on: December 03, 2017, 07:50:54 AM »
I'm looking for a 4Runner with under 200k, 1998-2004 or so, in the local area (Bonney Lake-Buckley). V-6, automatic, 4WD.
I've been trying CL and OfferUp, but can't get a response. (Not a surprise, really.)
Know of any good rigs for a decent price?

Those V8s are rare! I think they have tundra running gear? Wish they would make a v8 Tacoma

Good luck with your search we found that used 4runners were darn near as expensive as the new 4runners
therefore we bought a new one and had people waiting around to see if the wife liked it after the test drive so they could buy it
It was still on the truck when we saw it and had dibbs

Another V8 owner here, I've got a 2006. Love it!

Check out the 4Runners of Washington group if you are on Facebook. Post up what you are looking for and people will help you out there.

@ribka had a neighbor looking to get rid of one awhile ago, I don't remember any details. Hopefully he'll chime in if it's still available.

I have a 96, 3.4 auto..291k on the rig,  but only 205k on block.. drives like a 4runner with 290k miles,  but been daily driving it for over a year since engine swap 65 miles round trip,  and just made trip to Longview from elma.   Body straight but hood,  paint clear coat pealing,  interior not horrible,  but not pristine either
