wolves last week in SW Washington
« on: January 06, 2018, 06:24:12 PM »
A friend of mine took these pics 1 week ago on his ranch in SW Washington. He had 50 head of elk and some nice muley bucks wintering on his property and of course these guys showed up.  He had cougars and bob cats, also various bears on video and camera thru out the year and the deer/elk lived with them but it wasn't until these 3 showed up and then everything disappeared,

Probably SE Washington.... not too many mule deer in SW Washington.

Looks like Walla Walla county to me. A well known canyon.

I hope those pics were taken from a helicopter in hot pursuit with an aerial gunner. ;)

Don't tell if that's true though.

Correction.....I meant SE Washington and it was taken between Walla Walla and Milton Freewater on private ground and taken on the Oregon side.  I thought it was on his ranch but it wasn't.

Lol- the title is a bit misleading then.

Not surprised to see them in that area, there are a few packs established and more on the way down there

No worry on posting ,pics are very cool, glad you posted

It's always a good point that wolves are on there way there, and have been seen and documented in the area.

According to Oregon most of there wolf population is in the northeast corner, I'm sure wolves know about state lines. :chuckle:

Knowing the locals in Klickitat county I don’t think wolves would find a welcome mat there.
