1/2 a black angus cow that fed on green grass all summer and then finished on custom grain mixture and timothy hay from our 10 acres in Ellensburg.  Please message me if you are interested.

$4 pound for beef x 140lbs = $560 to me for beef plus

  plus kill fee($95 full cow) $23.75 for 1/4 cow , cut and wrap fee $.65 x 140 = $91$+ + $23.75=  $115 total for butcher fee.

If you want a 1/4 cow than the price will be $675.00 total. Very good tasting and not too fatty just right to get you through until elk or deer season!

Beef is at my house in the chest freezer. I have 1/4 left.

Couple questions. Has the 1/2 already been cut & wrapped, or would we tell the butcher how we would like it?  Also, are your animals antibiotic free in addition to being grass fed?  Thanks!

How much edible meat would that equate to?

To answer this yes it was cut yesterday 3/4 inch on steaks and standard cut and wrap. No I didnít give them anything while I had them they were dewormed before I got them but no purely grass feed was the plan however the slaughter truck was really busy so we ended up using quality hay and grain to help flavor up the meat and hep give it some marbling.
I will be picking it up tomorrow from the butcher in my chest freezer and will have the whole half for sale until itís sold or if someone wants a quarter I can do that as well.  I will be driving over to puyallup area from Ellensburg Monday or Tuesday as well so if someone wants it I will meet you somewhere along the way if you want for pick up free of charge.  Pm me if youíre interested I didnít see these questions  until I looked sorry about that.

Honestly i am not sure on that question there will be maybe 15% loss of bone and scrap but that is my guess one half filled my average sized chest freezer about 3/4 full.

That's why I quit selling slaughtered beef and went to solely selling live.  Every single time at least one would get cold feet and back out at the last minute.

Sadly this is why I charge a 50% deposit to confirm an order.  At least my butchering costs are covered at that point and if I have to eat it, it doesn't sting as much.  Sorry I can't buy this right now I'm full up on freezers with my own product.... but I'll ping some of my wait list folks to see if anyone needs a 1/4.
