REI aluminum frame pack
« on: February 05, 2018, 07:45:50 PM »
Aluminum frame pack with added padded hip strap and chest clip. Zippers work well, nice pack frame.
Located in Rochester $30
Some animals WERE harmed in the making of this Hunter. They were also dragged through the dirt, butchered and tasted delicious fried with butter and bacon.

Yea.  That is cool, how old is it?  My guess is 1977.

Doesn't have any dates on it but my guess is 70s.

These older frames are great for packing out meat.
I have a couple that I use and they are comfortable and light.
Better than spending $250 on a Bull Pack that will see limited use.
The money you save can be used for good raingear, beer, shooting lessons or ?.

Just cause it's from the 70s doesn't make it inferior.
I'm shooting a 1971 Sako Finnbear and it's never let me down.
I know kids with the latest and greatest that don't get off the road.
They have never shot and elk and wouldn't know what to do if they did.

I love the old guns and gear, I shoot an old Remington 760 game master chambered in 30.06 from the late 50s. Yea the late 50s, it has a 4 digit serial number and works flawless.

Anyways, I would like to get rid of this and if it helps I travel to Sumner 5 days a week for work so anyone near that area wants to meet I would be open to ideas. I'll go a few more days then probably shove it in the attic.

Cheers!
