Potholes Res
« on: March 08, 2018, 10:42:33 AM »
Hey Guys & Gals,
Anyone been at potholes as of late? Gonna head there this weekend and wanted to check and see if anyone has the water temp. Going either way, just be nice to put a game plan together before I roll out...Thanks in advance !

I was up there today driving around, didn't see a boat on the water. The lake is at or above full pool. Everywhere I have been fishing the water temps have been in the 38 to 40 range.

Moses lake is at 38 so potholes shouldn't be any different

Walleye and perch have been biting on Moses. I haven't had any luck with smallmouth yet this year. A boat next to me caught a couple on Sunday.  A lot of boats heading north to Banks also. Haven't heard anything about potholes recently.

Thanks shoes, I know it's still a little early for the smallies but I'm at my "going nuts" phase of winter..lol...thanks again for the info. I love banks, actually named my son Banks, I've done pretty good there in march,  even when the water is 40, it's a grind but it's doable....

Spent yesterday up on Banks. Was a beautiful day with tons of boats on the water. Managed to put 6 walleye and a couple of nice perch in the boat. Good first trip of the year for sure!
