Thanks for posting them up Bone.  He's a nice deer, but I'm no threat for the prize!

As long as you enter before your hunt Bear, its all good.  Pm me if you need an addy again.   I am hoping to have pics of the plaque that Killbilly put together for the competition.  I better get to Idaho if I even want a chance to keep this thing.

Here is a picture of the Plaque. I believe that Bone will post a much better one when he gets a chance. The blank spaces still have a layer of plastic on them and look dull in the picture.

I need to clarify that the wood, cut to the shape of our state was donated by a member in Skagit County. I want to say it was Wea300Mag. All I did was add some finishing touches and had the engraving part done. It was a joint effort. After sending it to Doug I remembered I for got to put the hangers on it. So Bone gets to add the last touch.

And by the way we are proud to honor Joshua and keep his memory with us.

Great job on the trophy, guys!  Thanks!  It'll look great in my shop next year.  Oh, yeah, I guess I need to actually kill something to compete.... Hmmmm...

I'm sure this is not your winner but it's all I got from out of state ... I'll get a score up at some point if it really matters as I'm sure there will be larger!!!  Dunno

No doubt, that would be a great animal to take this trophy with.  COOL

This pronghorn ran into the arrow I let loose from the longbow over in WY. He will not win but for the spirit of things I'll submit it because that's all I got. I don't think he could possibly measure greater than 55 inches.

So, for the sake of the competition, I measured my Kansas buck.  It came out at 111 7/8, which would put it at 54.71% of the Pope and Young typical whitetail record.  I know it's a long way from winning this competition, but I've never shot a 111" buck that I was more proud of!
