Is this an open carry rally, or show up without your hardware rally?

"Is this an open carry rally, or show up without your hardware rally?"

The Open Carry folks are carrying a lot of water for this.  You can open carry if you so choose.  You don't have to carry a gun to stand up for your Right to Keep and Bear Arms.  I will probably not be carrying at all as an example of this.  Please see the guidelines on the website:

Kain, I'm going up very early that morning with my car full.  Otherwise, I would offer you a ride.

Thanks to everyone for your interest and support.  Keep your fingers crossed that we have nice weather.

I can't make it.  My grandmother turns 90 that day so I'll be going to her birthday party...........but I hope there is a big turn-out.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Happy birthday to your grandma.  Sounds like there will be a big family get together.

Anyone coming from the Seattle area who can swing by and pick up our PA system in Poulsbo?

Does anyone know of someone who is coming from the Seattle area in a van or large SUV who might be able to help us out?

We have someone.

Thanks.

2A marches show gun owners are growing restless

Monday’s Second Amendment March (SAM) in Washington, D.C. was a huge success compared to the armed gathering at Virginia’s nearby Fort Hunt and Gravelly Point parks, and now gun rights activists in the ‘other’ Washington (I prefer the real Washington) are working hard to match yesterday’s events right here in the Evergreen State.

A noon rally at Olympia’s Tivoli Fountain on the Capitol Campus is scheduled this Saturday, April 24.

  • The opinionated one... Y.A.R. Exec. Staff
Tons of parking around the capitol campus and surrounding business and residential streets. We have found parking very easily for all the events we have attended. Bring a few coins for meters nearby the campus (not sure about weekend tolls though...)  or free just a few blocks away...  Also lots of parking nearby in the GA parking lot, the DNR building...DOL building..... Expect no problems.
