WDFW Trivia question
« on: February 28, 2008, 07:23:40 PM »
Anyone know the difference between a 2008 Raffle multi-season deer or elk application, and a 2008 multi-season draw license application. :dunno:  A very nice lady named Wendy explained it to me today :chuckle:  I now have total confidence my chances are as good as everyone elses in getting drawn

OK I won't keep you in suspense.  :chuckle: If you bought your license early (not sure when they made the change) say mid January, the multi-season apps. were being applied as a raffle application, and WILL NOT SHOW on the application submittal record, or show a point credit.  You did not have the 'submit hunt choice' step.  By let's say by mid-February multi-season apps, are entered as a license and you need to do the 'enter hunt choice' step.  Oh yeah, and it shows up on the application submission history.  Rest assured, those who purchased or 'applied' early will be entered in the drawing pool with points credit. :chuckle:  Looks like they are getting the kinks worked out :bash:

That doesn't make sense to me why would you need to submit a hunt choice for a raffle ticket that is for the whole state. It seems to me that they are just trying to make *censored* more complicated and screw *censored* up, if you did it one way and it was working why change it?

Raffles generally give you as many chances as you want to purchase.  It had been a special hunt app. in previous years, and went on the submission history as same.  Catagorizing it as a raffle early this year was the screwy change.   :dunno:
