Take The Online Grizzly Bear Tests
« on: August 24, 2011, 06:53:40 PM »
Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming all have grizzlies in varying numbers. If you plan to hunt bear in the north half of Washington or in Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming, be safe and take the grizzly bear tests. In Montana you must pass their test before you can purchase a bear tag.

MY ADVICE
Take all four of these tests until you pass them all with 100% and you can hopefully avoid accidentally shooting a grizzly bear when out bear hunting. The fines and punishment for anyone accidentally shooting a grizzly are tremendous!

Wyoming

Good luck hunting!

Nice. I like seeing helpful posts. I got two wrong. I called 2 blonde phased black bear grizzlies. I am pretty boozed up, though.  :)

Take it again until you get 100%, the best insurance there is to not make a mistake.  :twocents:

I take it every year as a reminder and have all my guides do the same...

I will. I hunt in the NE and I feel its only a matter of time before I run into a Grizzly. Thanks for posting this.

:yeah: I missed two but I thought they were Grizzlies and not black bears. So pretty good for me since I just went straight to the test and I don't hunt bears.
