If the famiily wouldnt accept it, we could donate the funds to youth hunters education in here name, for example.

The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. One does not hunt in order to kill, but kills in order to have hunted. Then why do I hunt? I hunt for the same reason my well-fed cat hunts...because I must, because it is in the blood, because I am the decendent of a thousand generations of hunters. I hunt because I am a hunter.- Finn Aagard

 hello Me too!

We can't worry about how much better the kid should have been supervised, or any of the 9 million other things that were done wrong... A statement of condolence from a group of Washington Hunters. That's it.

The donation to a youth hunters ed fund is a fine idea, but what about instead contributing in her name for something that she loved? Trail maintnance?  wildlife habitat restoration? who knows? I just think it would be more fitting and personal to donate to something she enjoyed and took part in. Two cents worth

And by sundown he'll be bringing in the hide"
