Is this in Kent right off HWY 97?
Edit: just saw your other posts. Nice pictures, I was down there a couple weeks ago. Cool area, but there is no gas in Shaniko. :chuckle:

I've always enjoyed that old gas station at Kent, there are some other cool old buildings not far from there and old cemeteries. Here's an old homestead in Wyoming, those guys must have really enjoyed their solitude. Also, an old Chevy grille.

It just occurred to me that the two cars above are the same car. There is another on the other side of the building but I can't figure out where I got those from! So looking for it I found this old Ford Homestead on the Agency Plains out side Madras. Story is the Ford was a dry land wheat farmer and when they finally got water there, he wouldn't use it. neat old house and neat pump close to it. You can see the pump in the lower left corner.
(http://donfischer.smugmug.com/History/Homesteads/i-rhqT5kS/0/M/Homestead%20%231-M.jpg) (http://donfischer.smugmug.com/History/Homesteads/12701161_NpKJrb#!i=918307390&k=rhqT5kS&lb=1&s=A)
This it the same house from a different angle. That hydrant is not the old pump. The pump is on around the house out of site.

This is the old Clarno Homestead. No longer there but Ray Clarno assured me this is it. It had been remodled several times over the years. Last lived in about 1989, year I moved over here.

The Moro Homestead near Kent. An old woman, Bertie, born and raised in Kent told me she used to play with the kids that lived here. Bertie died about six years ago at 93.

That's a classic there! Ohio is rough on equipment and my bro-in-law usually ran his stuff until it dropped. The old farm is littered with equipment that gave a full lifetime of use and will never move again. Makes for some interesting pictures though.

Here is an old barn that I came across in Eastern WA. I think that is a couple old, mobile, sheep herders cabins in the barn.

My '56 Ford Ranchwagon as I found it wrecked on a farm in Nebraska

The same car as it looked last year when we drove it 6,400 miles from Gig Harbor to Chicago, then southwest down old route 66 to Arizona and back home via the National Parks in colorado, utah, etc.

I have always wondered if there is a demand for these old trucks and cars that are stashed out in the old farms, rusted and all, are they able to be repaired and restored, I seen the one pic but I think it would be cool to see some of these old vehicles before and after pics once they are restored and on the road.

Old cabin on Bethal ridge.

I love the pictures of these old places. I can't remember how it started but years ago when my grandma and I were on a trip whenever we saw an old cabin or homestead we would say "we could live there!" Pretty tongue-in-cheek but every time I see these old places I think of that. The more I see now-a-days the more I would like to live in
-
Very cool thread! I'll have to try and dig up some of my old pics...

Cool photos...

So these aren't anywhere near the quality of photos posted here, but these are a few pics of old things I've taken over the years...

It was neat to see, it must have been quite the spread in it's day. Kind of sad with the grave there, I wonder what the story is on that? I tried to google it, but couldn't find much.
