The real question is...
Is the 300WM a good bobcat caliber? It seemed like DRock may not have brought enough gun.
-

Nice looking cat, DRock.

Good for you! Love the spots on that thing!
They tan up into gorgeous throw pieces on the back of a couch, etc.

Wow, good sized cat with awesome markings.
What are your plans with it? You gonna mount it?

I kinda blew the he'll out of her.

Understood!
Get the skull done at least. Bobcat skulls are pretty awesome when euro'd.

2 rounds from a 300 win mag at under 40yds leaves pretty big exit holes.
-
Nice!!
Hey D i shot a cat years ago that was a bit messed up to do a rug, so i did a pedestal mount exactly like this pic and saved the rest of the tanned pelt not used for the mount, to place on a small table etc and also had the skull euroed which some day i will mount on a piece of barnwood, for now it just sits on a shelf... :twocents:

two shots with a 300 win mag ............. :yike:..........little over kill :chuckle:
I would also do a pedestal mount, they always look good with coyotes, fox and bobcats.
Nice looking colors.
