Looking for some expert coyote hunters to come up to the Lodge and clean out some coyotes/cougar/bobcat. Probably after the holidays.
-
Hmm, So very tempting!
-
Is this a free offer or is there a charge?

If Rick has too many varmints then it would be a great opportunity to thin them out. Go to his website link and give him a call for the facts. I have hunted with him had dinner with him and his wife great people and great places to hunt!!!! you do need to know how th hunt the critters!!

Will be calling over there after jan 1st. Rick

No charge..Just help thin out the sharp toothed critters around the Lodge... It would be great to meet some new hunters and learn some new techniques for predators. I think night hunting might be one way to whack a few. Mostly timber/cliffs with meadows mixed in.

This is awesome. You're 3+ hours away, but I have some time off between Christmas and New Years.
I'll contact you.

Can't do anything until 1-3 after the holidays. Probably have some new snow by then.

Thanks for everyone sending me PM's and messages. I have several parties interested and I'll work out how we can all get some coyote killing in or bobcat ...or cougar

There really is a lot of dogs in this area! In the past some one put on a month long shoot for them with prizes included up there. I don't quit remember the details but I do remember you turned in your kills at the sporting store in collville? Any of you know if some thing like this is going on up there this year? I deer hunt a area up the road from Gifford and the serenade of the packs puts us to sleep every night.

If you're still looking for shooters, I'm available. I'd like to come up that way.

Since posting this we have been blasted with snow...and the wdfw has closed the cougar season. I can't get into two of my back country leases now. I'll be getting ahold of all the guys that emailed me about coming up and try to move the dates a little . On Friday a worker at the power sub-station just 400 yds up the highway from the Lodge was working outside and spotted a cougar stalking what he thought was a deer. The snowmobilers that were staying at the Lodge told me about it and I went and talked with the guy that spotted the cat. He showed me where and I spent a few hours looking and calling with no luck. Since Sat. was the last day of the cougar season--thanks a lot wdfw--- I tried further to the North with no luck. Did not cut one track of cats or coyotes. Snow was knee deep up along the base of the cliffs. We got another 10 inches Sat. night. Thanks again to everyone responding and we'll be in touch.
