Title: North Bend Elk Area 4601
Post by: Griiz on June 16, 2017, 01:16:45 PM
It was my son's last year to apply for youth elk tags and there were only two choices for western muzzleloader, so I applied for both of them and he was chosen for North Bend Elk Area 4601. Now that he was drawn, I need to scout the area and see if there is any area for him to hunt. I was curious if anyone can PM me any insight they have about the area. The way the game laws read, it sounds like it is mostly private property. Is that private land, homeowners or timber companies where you have to purchase an access pass. Thanks Brad

Yea it's mostly private. Hancock snoqualmie sells the pass. I live off exit 38, most of the elk hangout in parks or people's backyard including mine. Good luck though. Have your kid knock on some doors.
