a Buddy hunts with one, has for 50 years. His will not keep Remington ammo in the tube, only works with Winchester ammo. He says the rims are different???

I use the 170 grain snubbys .  They are Winchester though I have some old reloads that are Remington that I never had a problem with.

I use the Remington ammo and have no complaints.  Seemed to work fine on moose so I'm sure it'll work on just about everything.
