I currently belong to Lakewood Master Bassers, a Bass club that only uses electric motors. I have been involved since its inception but my last 2 partners are having kids and are not able to continue. Some things about me - I will turn 60 next year (yea, I am the grandpa of the group), and I have a 16' pontoon Bass Buggy that is set up for fishing. Lots of room, very comfortable. I did fish one year by myself, but not fun loading and unloading by myself. I don't smoke but it doesn't bother me. I would consider myself an average bass fisherman, I grew up in AZ and there is a lot of differences in techniques. Continuing to learn how to catch bass here in the NW.
I believe the annual dues for the club run $75 and each tournament is $10 per person. There also is a big fish of the year pool.
If interested you can check out their website (I was on the Bent Rods team)

Next years tournaments include Steilacoom, Silver (Cowlitz county), Alder, Pattison, Kapowsin, Summit and American

Do you know of any other bass clubs like that around the state?

Pond Jumperz has the same electric motor only restrictions and it is located north. Stevens, Samish are some of the lakes they fish

Found a partner. This opens up a spot for a new team.

Those look like pretty interesting tournaments. I see Pond Jumperz up on Terrell sometimes and you can use any size boat it seems, just can't use the big motor.

If there's nothing over here in the Yakima Valley I should start one for kayaks!

My new partner isn't going to work out. Starting my search again :(
