Title: Baked Blinds?
Post by: hdshot on November 26, 2017, 09:23:28 AM
Was talking with a family member over Thanksgiving dinner who I don't talk with very often and duck hunts.  Told him my story how public duck hunting has been going down hill over the last few years and now done but putting some rubber on the road scouting around still.  His quick response was you know how many legal pot shops have shown up in the last few years?  He has had the same poor experiences lately especially on green heads public hunting and brought up a interesting theory  how much more worse ethics are now on shot selection, poaching, and cripples on all ducks after the legal pot shops showed up in force.  In a nut shell he believes the desirable green heads are much more educated now on public properties because of obvious reasons.

I am reading a book now from 1948 talking of the poor ethics and skybusting that was present in the market hunting area. We are cyclical creatures, and it has nothing to do with getting tuned up.

so are we saying that you think duck hunting is getting worse because people are high out hunting?
