I was hunting on my property yesterday when I catch some movement out of the corner of my eye. Low and behold 2 guys were walking down my fence line. I was going to let them walk all the way to me, then confront them for trespassing. When all of a sudden one of them starts taking one of my trail cameras off the tree. This was around 3:30. So I yell at them, and they take off on a dead sprint.
So I try to catch up to them and at least get a photo of their licences plate. Couldn't find them. But on the way back to my house I looked at the time.... It was 4:02. About a minute later I reach my camera and continued to take it off my fence and bring it home.
Unbelievable..... this A$$#@!3 had the nerve to come back and try to steal it again! This would have been the 3rd camera they would have got from me. Thank God I was out there. I've got tons of pics of these 2 jerks trespassing and poaching. I'd love to know who they are!!
-
If that camera is on your private property then take the pics to your leo's. Blatant proof of trespassing and if you witnessed them maybe you can get a attempted theft? I don't how that part works. Maybe they have records and a leo will know who they are.
-
I think you have a pretty good case there! Nail em!

I'm planning on meeting up with officer L. Stevens on Monday. Hopefully it works out in my favor.

You have great pics of two of them?

Great pics of this guy and what I "think" is his truck. But only 1 "ok" pic of his buddy.
Got pics of them hunting during rifle season, no Hunter orange, and carrying my camera in there hand.
-
What d-bags! I hope the law can really put the screws to them. Good luck.

Is that here in the valley?

Your location says Monroe. Is that the area these pics are from?
Hope you're able to nail these thieves.

I would post that picture on all the duvall facebook pages like the trading post and such. Have been in the valley the majority of my life but I don't recognize the guy. Hope you get this problem taken care of.
-
:yeah: Facebook the story for sure!!!!
-
Make some laminated signs with his picture and post around your property stating he is not allowed on your property. Report the problem to local LE. You could also make a few that you can post around asking the person to contact you through the local LE office to explain why he is on your property.
-
Post it in the little stores along the way from Carnation to Monroe and the box stores too. Someone knows him..
-
Yes do some of the suggestions to make this guy aware that he has been reported to the LEO. Its a shame that a person has to do this on his own property but there are some real squirrels in that area and Cedar Ponds.
-
Grandpa is that you :chuckle:
Hopefully the next picture we see. He will have bars in front of his face. Rather then fencing. Hope you nail him.
-
You have more self restraint than I would allowing him to run off on his own two legs. Good luck with the process. Hope you nail him. Keep us posted.
-
Don't know him, but I'm tagging. Want to see this guy get his due, and them some.

I was thinking about this old guy stealing cams........
It's bad enough when a young guy does it. You'd like to think people grow out of it.
Apparently not in this old dirtbag's case.
-
I shared his photo on my FB page. Hope he gets identified.
-
Post his picture in a “wanted” poster and post it up at all the stores in the valley. Someone knows him and will tell him his face is all over town.

What are the pictures of them "poaching?"

Try the Facebook pages local to the valley for sure. They’re extremely active. Someone around here will know the guy. Safe to assume it’s probably a local and a regular that folks will know about.

I told peoples advise. I've got him posted on Facebook. I'm waiting to be accepted to the Duvall homesteaders page, I'll post it on there. Lance Stevens LEO has his pic. Next will be posters around town!!!

My mailing address is Monroe. But I live closer to Duvall. This happened on my wife's property off of big rock rd. In between Duvall and Carnation
-
Any pics of the second guy?
-
From the earlier posts it sounded like there were more pics shown, but I can only see one of the guy looking into the camera. More pics would be great.
Try the Snohomish county crime Facebook page(s) too. A$$ clown may not be a local. The more exposure you can get for him/ them on social media, the more likely some one that knows them will see it. I am not a big social media guy, but do see the value of it in situations like this.
-
What old guy? I just see a 28 y.o. tweeker :)
-
If you would have caught them you would have to change your name to rednuckles!! Get'em

I’d rather rub his face in the dirt for a while then let him get off with a slap on the wrist.
