Tritt gave me some cool stuff as my Christmas pick. They included 2 1lb Sonic Boom exploding targets. Luckily, I Googled the regulations and they're banned on all WA state land year round. I'll have to find one of you guys with some property, I guess. Happy New year all!

A few weeks ago I was shooting on state land and someone had left a full tannerite jar down range (it had a bullet hole in it, but that's all). A state LE guy stopped by and said "hi." Now I am especially glad he didn't see the tannerite as then I would have had to have been one of those people saying, "It's not mine, really!"
-
It is also illegal on any DNR protected forest land and this includes a lot of "private" land that backs DNR forest land.
-
I was headed out with CAB to do some New Year's shooting with him and his wife. I almost didn't check the regulations on it. Glad I did.

When it comes to Washington State. If it's even remotely fun, it's illegal!
-
I heard it was banned on public because of the fire danger in summer. :dunno:

Exactly!!!

Blame the idiots using it in July, eastside, 100 degree weather, 30 mph winds. Dumb.
They apparently need someone to tell them, not a good idea.

so because it's illegal even if there's no one around you wouldn't just shoot it and pick up your mess leaving no evidence? Not judging just wondering

Hey just cleaning up some litter, I'd say you were a good citizen!
-
I try to be a good citizen. Sometimes we all fall short. When I go shooting in the woods, I always take a rake and a garbage bag and take out far more than I bring with me because some people aren't. And, lots of the guys on here do the same thing.

We had a Border Patrol Agent start the huge Sawmill Fire down here last year shooting at Tannerite. Over 30,000 acres.. Just because you wear a pickle suit, don't mean you're smart.

Psssst, lets not talk about the fires started by "agency" vehicles :o :o :o Thank the Feds for Your "cat"!!
