I was driving to Spokane last weekend and while driving through Moses Lake there was a truck with a quad in front of it pushing deer. They went from being in a field to out in the refuge. I normally wouldn't have stopped but I could see the deer they were pushing on the edge of the field right away so it intrigued me being as I know what that unit is capable of! That's when they jumped from the field to in the sage through a gate or something. The guy would get off his quad here and there to make a trip out into the sage and back. I couldn't quiet see if he was getting sheds or what not but I did give WDFW a call so keep an eye out Moses guys and you may just be able to make a call that'll earn you some points and save your herd!

They do a deer count out there every year. They use quads pickups horses and guys on boots. It is possible this is what was going on but I thought it was typically done in late Nov.
