I managed to get the camera out in time to catch a couple bad pics of this little snow bird. She's my good luck charm for the year.
You guys see many albino turkeys?

I've seen one, but it was a poult this fall so I don't know but I think it was a hen.

I've seen em in the Blues also and had an albino hen I used to see on a fairly regular basis in the Asotin Creek drainage. It's been a couple years since I last saw her though.

I have seen a few white turkeys in stevens county as well. Was told they may not be a true albino. Just a different color phase.

Still looking for my first Albino. A lady in North Idaho I work with sent me a picture of an Albino Jake last year in her backyard, but her husband is keeping others off the property till it grows a longer beard! :(

Yelp, I haven't even made it over to Stevens Co. yet. I usually hunt over there, but may try a bit closer next month. This spring is pretty much dedicated to my kids, so I may not venture quite so far, in trade for more trips. My oldest son is bent on tagging a bird with his bow, and my other two have only been out a few times. So, I may knock on a few doors to see about gaining access to some private land. I'd like to avoid combat hunting while my daughter is with me as much as possible. I have a couple good hike-in spots, but not sure about the snow. Always a puzzle.

i saw onae a few years back. i think that the ones that most see are probably the offspring of a wild turkey that mated with a domestic turkey. just my :twocents:
