Title: Goose help
Post by: 400out on December 14, 2010, 11:30:36 AM
Alright guys and gals I normally don't do this but I need some help if there is any to be had! A buddy just called me and wants to go out in the morning after some geese, I normally have been out multiple time by this time of the year but due to the job loss and kids I haven't made it out once this year  :bash: So I am asking if any one in the basin has any help to give for some honkers  ;) I just got done re doing the floor in the wife's kitchen so she might sign off on me going! So I better make the most of it or just stay home and do something else for her  :chuckle: Thanks for any help  :hello:

I was over in the potholes Saturday and did not see any that were not flying at altitude. Good luck!

I just had a idea and if the wind keeps up I think I will go out to a orchard that sits on the snake and cheat a couple out of the air climbing to the fields! I know that without going and looking around this afternoon it's a crap shoot.

If you have acces to fields or an orchard in your case set out some decoys and call traffic... its not too difficult to coax those dumb birds in... or is it??  :tung:
