WHOLY *censored*E never seen one up close, Im no good at guessing cat weight but he was tall, long, and not skinny, his paws were HUGE

I'd imagine that thing looked to be about 10 feet tall, breathing fire, with lasers coming out of his eyes at that point!

Great story, I'm glad you made it out on the good side, the alternative could have been a far different story.

Where was this? You mentioned the N. Fork so I'm thinking Teanaway?????? My brother was up there tonight and ran into a cougar as he was walking back to a the car on a dirt road. He said that the thing was crouched down and only about 20 yards away. As he raised his gun and moved forward it turned and ran. I have several pics of some cats from my game trail cams in the area too.

"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

This is the exact reason I have a Columbia River hissatsu knife (AKA *censored* mother effing tactical knife) mounted on my backpack strap. My Buddies make fun of me, but it won't run out of bullets. Plus a little jiu-jitsu background doesn't hurt  :chuckle:

Rick, I dont have time for little kids like you making insinuations, if you got something to say be a man and speak up instead of making pathetic insinuations  :liar:  Yes, we are in the great Northwest, I hunt in the forest, not in Redmond Parks, there are animals there, real animals, yes animals other then bambi prancing around, animals that dont run away, animals with real teeth, so feel free to join me on a weapon free hike, or keep pussin up talkin *censored* behind your keyboard
