State wildlife officials invite the public to a 6 p.m. Jan. 7 meeting to examine research done on the movement of the Colockum elk herd northeast of Ellensburg, according to a news release.

In addition, the meeting at the SURC Building in Room 137 will review winter road closures to protect the elk and the forming of a recreation plan for state lands northeast of Ellensburg and near Wenatchee.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

But................   there are no elk in the Colockum.

Are they contemplating a transplant with a few thousand surplus head from the burgeoning Blues herd?

I plan on being there.  I would hope we would have a contingent of Hunt Wa members and Wash. for Wildlife people there to make our presence known we are interested in this topic.
