I hit it half day on Saturday and half day Sunday, no luck but had a good time. Also hit the WAC show and picked up some ammo for the AR.

The grass in the roads is getting tall, above my knee in most cases. Down to a few days. Trying hard but not gonna throw in the towel yet.

Hit it again last night... 6-9... no dice; found some new tracks. Tried a bit of calling, but I think my calling sucks.

Hit it again today 5:30-8:30. My spot had tons of fresh turds, no bear though. Should I stick it out 2 more days, or throw in the towel?

Defiantly stik it out     I shot my buck on the last 1/2 hr of the last day last year. Sunday you would regret it, if you throw in the towel :twocents:

Dont' throw in the towel....you have two more days and Saturday could be it. Also, it sounds like you are on more fresh sign than most. Here is some info from Mr. Otto.....

Didn’t get behind to many gates today. Did note that the Rossiger gates looked as if they have had very minimal use (vehicle traffic)  behind them. I do recall  from prior to season start, that there was plenty of older tree peeling there.  Might be a good spot for someone to try. Note, it is very difficult to see tree damage this time of year with all the green up alongside of the roads. I did not one 3-5 day old scat that had berry seeds in it, I am assuming salmon berries.. This was from the Scotty road area I mentioned earlier to you.

Gonna be tough hunting as he said but the bears are plenty active and may be looking for more protien in the cuts....you never know.
