Mine is huge (avatar). Do I have to upload it again?

Hey is yours a link from a photobucket or other image-hosting website? I wonder if that might be the issue, the built-in resizing the forum was doing, isn't resizing any images from other image-hosting websites now.

Actually that's EXACTLY it, if you go to source-info for ANY of the avatar images that are oversized, they're all links to photobucket. Sounds like a website fix bearpaw needs to go look into.
Agreed

To increase load speeds we were advised to discontinue auto resizing of avatars and ask members to size their own, that it would speed up the forum, so that is why we are resizing the oversized avatars. They are no longer auto-sized.

We were also advised to remove avatars from any user who has not posted recently, so we we removed avatars from anyone who has not posted in the last 90 days. This is another action that helped speed the forum back up.

Ohh I gotcha, hmm maybe just remove the upload option from a URL? OR, you could add in a tiny disclaimer underneath that option stating that they need to resize their photobucket images to 120x120? There's like, a bazillion users, I'm not sure all will get the memo lol :)
