$47k governors tag?
« on: August 08, 2007, 09:13:30 AM »
was this paid for the S.E. WA bull with the 440 sheds?  inquiring minds want to know...it's more than twice what anybody's paid in the past.
did he get pimped out?
something happened on MM over the weekend and i guess the thread got nuked.

I don't think the bull could have got pimped out yet, the season for that tag doesn't start till September 1, I believe.  It would be interesting to know what happened though.

I don't go to MM, so I didn't see the post in question which got nuked.  But if someone paid 47K for a Washington bull tag, they have some sort of inside info on a great bull somehwere.  Just my .02c

this is the bull i'm talking about. these sheds were found this spring in the S.E. on private(i think) land. i'm assuming this is the bull that the soap opera is about.

Holy Christ thats a set of horns.  I did find a single horn, uneaten in the blue, true 7point that scores 177" alone.  There are some tremendous bulls down there.  Also saw what I believe was a 400+" bull down there that made me open the bolt on my rifle before I got too tempted.  This was in the Wenaha.

Good luck to the dude that dropped the cash........with all this attention I'd be surprised if he connects with that bull.  There are going to be a lot of eyes on him this summer for sure and I wouldn't put it past someone poaching him before the gov tag holder even gets a crack at it :dunno:
THE WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE SUCKS MORE THAN EVER..........

Rufous knows where he is.  His sheds came from a bull that was running with him.  Should get your name in the hat for a finders fee Rufous.

What the hell am I thinking.  I know where he is too, I sold birds to the guy who owns the land that he is on.  If any of you are out chasing him, and see some of my birds running loose, let me know. :)

I was thinking rufous' bull was big boy's sidekick, but was not sure if we ever decided that for sure.

The MM post was nuked because the "guides" or "pimps" or what ever they are, couldn't take a little ribbing. Someone thought we were taking the finders fee and baby blue shirt jokes too far :'(. Oh well. That site is full of too much political BS for me anymore. Glad I was steered this way. I sure do like this site already. Thanks again.
