Wow, sitting here with tears in my eyes...

Aaron and I had some great conversations via PM..  he gave me a spot for deer, when I got moved to Eburg.

His insights to the elk situation here in the central part of the state were invaluable.

Yes, his brother is a member here... BLRman or something with BLR in it..

R.I.P. my friend, Prayers for your family.  You gave the ultimate sacrifice for your country... that should never be forgotten... ever.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

my I suggest that the mods lock all other catigorys for a period of time to show respect for him ? I don't know if it's possible but seems like the right thing to do . Can't believe how choked up i'm getting and I only knew him through his words and stories he shared here on the forum ... really one of the great guys to have on our side  !

This is crappy.  Worst news I've had in months.  I simply have no other words.  I agree that we need a tribute on the site somewhere, somehow.  Seems more than fitting.

I am sitting here stunned and sad to read this. I have always had respect for colockumelk from reading his posts. He seemed like truly one of the good guys. I hope that someone will post something more about who he is so that we can learn more about who this hero was besides just his internet presence here. He will be missed by all.

The title of this thread sucks. The subject was a man of honor.
I respect all service members and fellow veterans.
Thoughts go out to his family and friends.
