We have a family of barred owls that moved in our front yard and I love them! I love owls in general so I was super excitedl

What's funny is I found this old drawing I doodled of a lil fat silly owl over 6 years ago and it reminded me of the first photo I took  :chuckle:

It's likely temporary.  After they boot the young ones from the nest the adults cover more ground and spend less time at the nest site.  If it is a good nest, they'll be back this fall and winter to breed.

Funny I was raking leaves and using a leaf blower for like 45 minutes not being quiet about anything. I looked and this guy was just sitting in the tree, ready to do some rodent control out on the back property. Kewl creatures
