 Anybody been out calling for yotes in the last few day? If so are the coming to the call good? I have been wanting to go for a couple days just havent gone and set up yet. Maybe tommarow! :mgun:

ive only been out once so far this year.  we called in 2,  gutpile shot them both  :'( ....  i know id like to get out there and try soon though.  to bad i got drawn for this lat buck tag ive gotta fill.  well hopefully after late buck there will be some snow on the ground.  good luck to ya when you go.

i saw a coyote in the wenas last weekend when i was pheasant hunting.  he was only about 50 yards away and i was tempted to pepper him with birdshot, but i held up because i doubt i could have killed him at that range with the ammo i had.  if he was half that distance i would have unloaded and put him on the ground!

been calling almost every weekend here. shooting a few, over here it seems they are very well educated. going to try a new spot this weekend try and find an area that has less pressure put on it. seem its always a little tougher after any of the other game openers. they will settle down soon and come to the call better. good luck!

I'm waiting tell the rifle seasons close. The coyotes get pushed around like the deer and elk do and they are pretty jumpy too.

coyotes mate in January and February i think, so that's probably the best time since they are moving a lot.
