unit 124 bull
« on: December 07, 2013, 01:11:36 PM »
I've hunted the same property in 124 for the last 6 years and have never even seen any elk sign.  This guy a spike and a cow showed up earlier this month.  Hasn't been back since but nice to see they are around

 had four cows show up at my place this spring. All the neighbors had never seen a elk in the area. One theory is the wolves are pushing them down  :dunno:

are you in 124 as well?  Ive known they are around and saw a few 4-5 miles from where I hunt but never on cam or in person on the property.  Hoping they don't forget where that salt lick is and start making a habit of it.

I am barely in 124, honestly didn't think I was at first till I reread the map.  We have a few but the move often and far. But if they want to keep coming by and hitting the salt lick and hay barn well then I'll have to get a extra salt lick( because they never leave it where they found it) and some extra hay.  :chuckle: :chuckle:
