Here is my bear from last spring! This was the second color phase bear I saw in two days of hunting, the other was a sow with a cub. Seems to be a lot of them in this drainage. I have a bunch of video of different ones from 2012.

That's an awesome bear. My girlfriend and I stopped by your camp where you had it hung up and chatted with you guys about it. Cool to see it here!

Great memories shared. We are having a life size mount done by Charlie's Taxidermy. Can't wait to get it in the trophy room.

Kelly Hill Spring Bear 2011.  Blondish body with cinnamon legs, head, and stripe half way down the back.  At this time I am planning to do a Closed Mouth Rug (might change).  Problem is I am still waiting for my taxidermist to get time to work on it.

A couple more,
here's one as he lays

and

The story behind the deer is on opening weekend of deer season someone shot the 2 point and then left it, we had heard about it but didn't know where the deer was. On the last day of the season the boy's spotted the bear sleeping only after shooting the bear and walking down into the ravine did they see it was the 2 point from the week earlier the bear was next to and had been feeding on, I talked to the game dept. and a few weeks later we went back and got the skull which is part of the wall mount we had done.

I didn't shoot him where the pic was, we just took him down to creek to skin him as it was cooler than up on the mountain. It was early September and in the upper 80's that day. But yes it was up the Twisp River Road where I took him.

The top picture is my 2011 Lick Creek bear. The second is the same bear. The third is my husband's bear from 2009, taken about 100 yards from where I took mine.
