Yea if those walls could talk oh what fish stories you would hear as most undoubtedly alcohol makes things bigger!! :chuckle:

The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

I've posted pics of the biggest blacktail I know and bet it would beat the WR.  Guy doesn't care, in fact its hanging outside under the eves of his garage.   Hornseeker has seen it as well.  The thing is amazing.

black and white days.  I saw the ATL pics.  Def a blacktail.
Here are some statistics I just ran across.  Haven't verified em' but....

Washington’s Widest Bucks

Outside Spread Widths in inches

Total number of 20 plus inch bucks - 47 out of 112 entries - 42 %

Break down of 20 plus inch bucks:

20 - 23 7/8 - 37

24 - 25 78 - 09

26 - 28 - 01

Washington’s widest - 26 4/8

State record - Inside spread 20 2/8, Outside spread 22 4/8

Wow, that one is a brute!  Just judging by the color of the horns, and the top of the head/ears/neck...I would have to say that it has spent a lot of it's time in a smokey atmosphere listening to hunting and fishing stories!
