Youth turkey success
« on: May 20, 2014, 10:28:28 AM »
My son and I were finally able to sneak away to eastern,wa for a turkey hunt in between baseball. We were hosted by a retired Coast Guard buddy and his wife at their cabin. My son was able to take his first and second turkeys ever with one having an 8" and 6 1/4" beard as well as a jake. I was able to harvest a nice tom sporting a 9" beard. My best turkey hunt ever as Jr. got to taste success.

Congratulations. That kind of success late in the season is a major accomplishment. Great memories for you and your son.
