Dewey Lake

The wife and i are going hiking to Dewey Lake in August. I still need to look at the regs. if that area is open is there many bears been seen up in that area and are there fish in there?? Also how fa is it from the paking lot at the top of the pass? THANKS

Can they still do that?  There is no longer a ban on firearms in parks, but there is a ban in park buildings.

Hell, why hike to the lake, just sit in the east side parking lot and shoot a bear when they com out to feed on the hill side   :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
