Westside shed hunting?
« on: July 28, 2014, 05:25:53 PM »
I know it is a few months early to be asking about this, but I just got a new lab puppy and I will be training him to hunt for shed antlers.  I am wondering if anyone knows of any decent spots to find them on the westside?  I don't usually hunt big game around here so I am not all that familiar with the mountains near where I live (Everett area).  If anyone knows of some areas or wouldn't mind us tagging along, I would be up for helping you scout your westside area this summer if it is a viable area that I could find sheds in the spring.

You can find sheds all year long. I was with a member that found a nice 7 point elk shed from this year a couple of weeks ago. Good luck to you.
