This mornings catch.  3.5 lb northern.  Nephew caught this 16" slab crappy.

Crappie are one of my favorite eating fish.  As I got older, I started fileting them instead of scaling and frying whole.  At some point I realized they didn't taste as good as I remembered.  I fried some up old school and liked them better.  I then realized that if I scaled them, then fileted without skinning, I still got that yummy sweet flavor that the skin adds to it.

Final night just mom me and the wife. I got this crappy
mom caught this nice lmb.  The wife put two more lmb and a mess of crappy in the boat.  More pics to follow.

13 crappy 3 lmb.  Lost a few northern tonight snapped lines.  One chased my lure up to the boat then took it and broke my line to boot.
