I spotted this guy this morning for a brief moment as he came over a ridge and behind some brush. I thought he was going to come straight through, but he hesitated. I could see him but did not have a clear shot and did not know if there were cubs or not. Like so many times, he just disappeared and I thought maybe I should have taken a shot but was glad that I held off. I sat there silent and listened, there was no wind, no leaves rustling, it was totally silent. I was hoping that maybe I would hear what direction he headed. The next thing you know, he was huffing right behind me in the brush. I slowly turned and could see leaves moving. I stayed silent i sat and texted all my friends, like i usually do while out hunting, especially the ones i know who are stuck at work and love bear hunting, german shepherds, and picking up sheds and he was unsure what to do I think.
edited for truth, like any friend would do

It's all part of the experience. I love sharing with people that like what I like and share back!
